Grounds Maintenance Operative and Team Leader

Salary : £11.68 – £13.45/hour
Job One- Grounds Maintenance Operative- Shepton Mallett- BA4 Area
Grounds Maintenance operative is needed to work for one of the UK's leading landscape/grounds maintenance company.
Daily duties will include grass/ lawn cutting, litter picking, Strimming, Edgeing, Hedge cutting, Weed control, using mowers and powered tools and other general landscape labour duties as directed by the supervisor.
There are permanent roles available after a successful probation period of usually 3 to 4 months
The hours are 7am to 4.30pm- Monday to Friday
Drivers licence is desired but not essential- candidates will need to live close to the area to get there for 7am
Experience is essential
Drivers are paid £12.33 per hour and non drivers are paid £11.68 per hour
This is a permanent role after a successful 13 to 15 week probation if all goes well
Job Two- Grounds Maintenance Team Leader- Shepton Mallett- BA4 Area
We are currently recruiting for Grounds Maintenance Team Leader
Required by one of the UK'S leading providers of Grounds, Landscaping and Horticulture Services
The duties will be being a charge hand leading a small team of one or two others to carry out grounds maintenance duties to include: Pedestrian and Ride On Grass Cutting/Mowing, litter Picking, Strimming and Edgeing, Hedge cutting, Weed control as well as using other grounds maintenance equipment and powered tools
Drivers licence is essential
The most important factor is strong experience with all the tasks above and being reliable
This is a permanent role after a successful 13 to 15 week probation if all goes well
The hours are 7am to 4.30pm- Monday to Friday
£13.45 per hour
