Job Purpose Statement
We are one of the largest landscaping companies and we are looking for passionate and motivated Grounds Maintenance Supervisors to join a new maintenance department. The maintenance teams will be working on some of the largest and most prestigious sites across London.
Key Accountabilities
Maintaining landscapes to the expected high standard.
Managing a small team.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, operations teamsand designers.
Carrying out seasonal required tasks and activities.
Operating and maintaining water irrigation systems.
Installing spring, summerand winter bedding arrangements.
Experience in operating and maintaining horticultural tools and machinery

Required Qualifications
Knowledge / Technical:
○ Formal horticultural qualifications (RHS 2 or equivalent). PA1/PA6 spraying certificates
○ Proven horticultural knowledge and best horticultural practice.
○ Clean driving license
○ CSCS card – desirable.

-Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight
deadlines.
Enthusiasm and drive to develop in the horticultural industry
Previous Experience:
4 years+ experience in the following: pruning, pest and disease control, planting, irrigation, turf care, use of horticultural machinery.
Experience in supervising and managing a team.
Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental issues relevant to the project environment.
Sufficient experience required working within the construction industry
