Grounds Maintenance – Team leader

Our client who is the leading providers of Grounds Maintenance services, are now recruiting operatives to join their growing team. They are looking for candidates who want to work hard and grow with within the well-established company.
To be a successful candidate you will have the ability to lead one of their skilled teams and effectively deliver high quality grounds maintenance services in the local communities.
You will use the full range of modern grounds maintenance equipment.
Hourly rate:
£11.20 per hour – £12.50 per hour DOE
Shift pattern:
7:15am– 17:00pm (summer months) and 07:45am – 16:30pm (winter months)
Duties will include the following:
Grass Cutting
Shrub Bed Maintenance
Shrub and Hedge Pruning
Weed Control
Herbicide Application
Litter Picking
Line Marking
Customer Liaison
Operation of PDA to plan and record service delivery and quality via our bespoke resource management system.
Role requirements:
To lead, motivate and instruct teams on site in order to achieve effective results and ensure targets and quality delivery are achieved.
Ensure daily and weekly productivity and quality targets are achieved within the agreed parameters.
Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with the company or client specifications and schedule and that all quality standards are met.
Completion of internal compliance and system paperwork, documents, forms as required by the business.
Ensure your team are carrying out their duties in an efficient, safe and professional manner, ensuring the correct PPE is being worn in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and current legislation.
Prior experience in a similar role essential
Full UK Driving Licence
