An exciting opportunity for a talented Group Executive Chef to lead a fantastic team at this family-owned group of luxury hotels. This Group Executive Chef role is a great opportunity for a great people manager with a passion for great food and people.

The Job Role:

Leading, planning, and organising all kitchen departments
Work with each Head Chef to create innovative menus with current trends to suit customers’ expectations
Ensure the highest of quality control and hygiene standards
Responsibility for financial results including gross food margin, stock, wages and controllable expenditure
Build a motivated team providing an example of enthusiasm and passion and coach, develop and appraise all staff appropriately
You will be responsible for building a motivated team, working with each of the Head Chefs, leading and developing an enthusiastic team with a passion for the preparation and service of fine dining food.
You will be responsible for all kitchen staff whilst providing the leadership and development to ensure all members achieve the highest standards.

Skills Experience and Qualifications:

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position within the hotel industry
Have a passion for delivering an exceptionally high standard of food
Evidence of financial acumen and responsibility for P&L analysis, GP and menu costing, wage budgeting and purchasing
Experience in working in minimum 4-star luxury 2AA Rosette hotel and maintaining such standards
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Basic IT skills to communicate via e-mail and proven organisational skills to work to deadlines
Level 3 Food safety qualification desirable
