Hard Landscape Foreman [with Horticultural Qualifications]
London / Surrey
Salary circa £35,000-£45,000k DOE [negotiable]
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Hard Landscape Foreman, with additional horticultural qualifications, to cover projects at our Surrey and London sites.
You should be a highly experienced foreman, client facing with excellent customer service skills with great communication and enthusiasm, and a desire to perform at the highest level. Self motivated, proactive and reliable with a great work ethic, happy and able to work in all weather conditions, with a great team player spirit. We are a busy but supportive company that likes to thrive on positivity and progression.
Requirement
• Effective team management, supervising staff and sub-contractors
• Ability to read scaled plans and setting out projects from scaled drawings/plans
• Working efficiently to deadlines and effective liaison with clients and stake holders
• Being highly skilled in all hard landscaping disciplines including, paving, brickwork
and timber/fence work
• Have some soft landscaping skills including ground maintenance; planting, irrigation, turf installation and plant knowledge
• Being hands on in the construction of schemes and providing an environment for
team members to learn and improve their skills
• Having good attention to detail, professional manner, being reliable and enthusiastic
• Excellent time and project management, ensuring the site and projects are run
efficiently and within budget
Essential Criteria
• Fluent in English – spoken and written
• Full, clean UK driving licence essential
• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Horticulture
• CSCS
• Excavator & Dumper tickets would be an advantage
