Salary : £28000 – £32000/annum
The Boot Inn in Orleton was rescued from the hands of developers some three years ago by the local community, extensively refurbished and is now run by the tenants Chris and Hollie.
The business has quickly established a strong reputation as a great community village pub and restaurant and has well supported plans for further expansion and development in the coming years.
Chris and Hollie are seeking to recruit a Head Chef who can be part of the management team and who will make a positive contribution to the growing success of their enterprise.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious chef to work with others who share a natural passion for food and who constantly search for new ideas to explore and introduce to their customer offering.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a good background of experience and training as a catering professional and will understand that a kitchen with flawless hygiene standards and organisational systems will produce better food, better chefs and better profits.
He or she will be required to run a busy service in a calm and organised manner, take full responsibility for the running of the kitchen and the motivation and development of staff, be nice to customers and not do too much shouting.
