Simple Recruitment are working with an award-winning client to recruit a Head Chef for their Gastro Pub in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for Chef to make this kitchen their own and have full creative and operational control of all aspects of the Kitchen. The restaurant already has a strong reputation for delivering quality food and you will enhance the quality and reputation further.
The role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of service, from sourcing and ordering fresh food, managing your brigade teams and menus.

The pub is set in a rural location, transport is recommended, although there may be the option for live in.The pub benefits from an exceptional reputation, and you will be bringing your own skills and reputation to enhance the quality of our service.
The current kitchen is functional and compact, however there will be a full kitchen refurbishment completed. As the head Chef, your input will be essential in the kitchen refurb, which will include expanding the kitchen area and bringing in best equipment for the restaurant. You will be involved in all aspects of this refurbishment and Kitchen will be built around your needs as the Head Chef.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week, with some spilt shift, however this will be managed by you as the Head Chef.
We are looking for the right person fit as well right Chef fit. Therefor we are looking for a competitive salary in region of £32-£35k, but this may be negotiable for the right candidate.
