Head Chef
We are looking for a Head Chef to join our team at our Joule’s Flagship Brewery Taphouse The Red Lion in Market Drayton with accommodation included. We would also consider applications from current Sous Chefs who are looking to take that next step in their career.

What you’ll get up to as our Head Chef:
Take complete ownership of the food operation at the Red Lion
Develop, train and work alongside a high performing kitchen team to deliver an amazing Brewery Tap Menu
Implement systems that deliver a high-quality and consistent food offer, particularly the professional kitchen and food procedures
Provide a safe working environment
Manage labour and food costs within the kitchen
Provide effective stock control through consistent delivery, portion control, wastage control and shrinkage control
Our Ideal Head Chef will have:
Proven ability to manage time, work under pressure and provide consistently top-quality food
A real passion for great pub food and outstanding customer service
Experience working in a high-volume environment – at either a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef level
Strong teamwork skills and an efficient communicator
Excellent planning skills
A Food Hygiene qualification
