If you are a Head Chef with experience of working in a rosette level environment or similar level, this iconic pub in the heart of the New Forest would like to hear from you.
With an exemplary reputation for food and a large and loyal local customer base, this is an excellent opportunity for a talented Chef to manage and develop the kitchen brigade whilst cooking with locally-sourced seasonal ingredients and creating innovative menus.
We can offer the Head Chef:
* A competitive salary circa £35,000-£40,000
* An additional profit scheme subject to successfully reaching KPI’s.
* A live-in option if preferred in a self-contained annexe separate from the main pub.
* Share of customer gratuities.

You will need a good cooking pedigree and experience of managing kitchens.
Responsibilities of the Head Chef:
* Proactively and effectively manage all aspects of the kitchen including health and safety and food safety requirements.
* Lead, manage and develop the kitchen brigade.
* Maintain effective controls with regards to GP and other targets as necessary.
* Have a pro-active approach to driving sales by engaging all members of the team both in the kitchen and front of house.
* Build relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including local customers and suppliers.
Due to the rural location of the pub, you will need to be able to drive or live-in for this role.
