My client looking to recruit an Head Chef to join them in this amazing new opening opportunity.
The head chef must be able to demonstrate strong kitchen management knowledge and skills, real passion for quality together with a commercial and creative mind.
* 120 cover restaurant
* breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner
* Events & hospitality including large scale graduations, conference, small wedding & events
* 2000 seated Newley refurbished music arena
* Opening in November recruiting now for training and soft launches
* Brand new opening /involved in all aspects of the opening set up and staff recruitment
Duties:
-Assist the executive head chef in he smooth running of this new kitchen
– Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
– Create and develop new menu items and recipes
– Manage stock control and food cost
– Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or themed menus
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role
– Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Creativity and innovation in menu planning and presentation
Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
