Head Chef
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £16 – £17/hour
Simple Recruitment Services are looking for an experienced Head Chef for a client in Sholing, Southampton.
You will be supporting the already established team within the kitchen and canteen.
The working hours will be 8:30am – 2:30pm Monday – Friday, term time only.
Responsibilities for the role would consist of the following:
* Kitchen and staff management
* Cooking food to standards set by the client
* Following all food safety laws and regulations
* Daily paperwork
* Ordering stock
* Stock rotation
The ideal Head Chef will have the following traits and experiences:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef in and education setting
* Extensive knowledge of main allergens and food safety laws and regulations
* High level of detail and standards of cooking
* Positive and hardworking attitude
* Extremely organised
* Works well under pressure
We are offering the following for the ideal Head Chef:
* Hourly rate between £16-£17 per hour
* Weekly pay every Friday by 5pm a week in hand
* Free meals on duty
