We are currently in the market for a Head Chef to join a brilliant hotel located in the Lichfield City Centre.
With multiple function rooms, all day dining options including afternoon teas, breakfast and Sunday carvery, this really is a great hotel and place to work.
The Head Chef position will be predominately working in the kitchen, ensuring the smooth running of day to day service. Other duties will include menu planning, stocks, rotas, staff training and general management of the kitchen to ensure high levels of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
The job is working 5 shifts per week, including weekend and bank holidays. Shifts will also vary in times dependant on business needs. You will receive a competitive basic salary of £35,000pa alongside 28 days holiday, pension plan, company discounts and many more employee benefits.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous head chef or senior sous chef experience working within a kitchen that caters for both restaurant and banqueting services. You will possess natural leadership skills and be able to demonstrate competence with all kitchen management duties.
