The Opportunity
This 2 Rosette establishment based in a picturesque town close to Sudbury & Bury St Edmunds are currently seeking an ambitious Head Chef to lead this brigade of talented chefs
The Role:
* As The Head Chef, you will be responsible for a brigade of 8-10 chefs. You must be organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
* We are looking for a Head Chef who can lead and mentor this current team.
* Work closely with the Restaurant team to deliver the highest possible standard of service to guests. Be aware of any special or dietary requests.
* Encourage a “customer first” culture within the team.
* As the Head Chef you will be responsible for ensuring a regular stock take is carried out, all staff training records and kitchen due diligence are up to date
The Location:
* Offering both a traditional, formal dining space and a more modern brasserie style menu this establishment is busy all year round, appealing to a variety of guests.
* The kitchen is large with expensive mod cons that are required for modern 2 rosette cooking.
* The restaurant can seat 70 – 80 covers and there are function rooms for exclusive dinner parties and weddings that can seat up to 50 people.
* Accommodation can be provided for up to 3 months should the candidate be re-locating.
