Head chef / Kitchen manager required in the Darwen area of Lancashire. This is The rotas are between 7am and 4pm (shift patterns within these hours with latest finish 4pm), no late nights and is 34 hours a week. £12 per hour, Head chef / kitchen manager.
The role
We are looking for a head chef / kitchen manager to manage a kitchen within this care home. You will work with your team of cooks in the kitchen, to ensure everything is ready for the set meal times. They do a hot lunch, prepare the cold evening meal (sandwiches) and the breakfast items for the next day. With it being a care home, you will work with different diets & ensure high standards. This role will include all the standard head chef /kitchen manager duties.
Experience
We are looking for a head chef from a contract catering, care home or a hotel/restaurant background, who wants to go into a kitchen with a good work/life balance
