Head Of Compliance – Remote

Salary : £75000 – £80000/annum + Excellent Benefits
My client is a small but established Financial Services provider based in Birmingham. Due to a recent resignation they are currently recruiting for a Head of Compliance.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer and supervising a small team, your main responsibilities will include;
* Responsible for oversight of the firm’s compliance framework
* To act as a first point of contact for regulatory bodies including FCA and PRA
* Report quarterly to the Risk and Compliance Committee
* Lead on regulatory challenge to the business strategy
* Maintain the firm's Management Responsibilities Map
* Lead the compliance update in Risk and Compliance Committee meetings
* To provide oversight of the Compliance function’s day-to-day activities.
* Ensure timely and accurate submission of required regulatory reporting
* Ensure the compliance function provides advice and support to the business
* Respond to alleged breaches of regulations by the regulated firms
* Liaise with regulatory bodies/industry bodies and peer groups to ensure best compliance practice
* Ensure compliance oversight and sign-off on customer documentation, marketing, and financial promotions as required by the FCA
* Establish a compliance plan detailing regulatory changes, activities and resources
* Ensure training is provided to the business on compliance and regulatory areas
* To oversee complaints process
You will be a Compliance professional from the Financial Services sector with a minimum of 5 years experience. Insurance experience is desirable although not essential. My client offers an attractive salary and benefits package.
