Salary :

Skyhook Games is a well established games studio based in Liverpool, England looking for a Head of Production to manage the development of Skyhook IPs and work for hire projects. Ensuring the progress of all projects are planned and coordinated accordingly to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget is part and parcel of the role. The Head of Production is expected to take ownership of this project coordination and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure game develop and design teams move towards deadlines. Set and deliver strategic goals for the production department and line manage direct reports to ensure their objectives and personal development is maintained.
What will you do?
* Managing the day-to-day running of the production department and oversee all company projects
* Collating and organising qualitative feedback from different sources to ensure successful production processes and project governance is upheld throughout the company
* Monitor progress and coordinate with production team to keep the project on pace
* Tracking progress and identifying areas for improvements, and solutions, for any risks or issues raised
* Ensuring timely delivery of Company projects and look for areas of improvement to evolve our processes, methods and practices
* Providing reports on key statistics and metrics throughout the project life-cycle as required
* Receiving, advising and assessing company-wide risks from the production group to the SLT
* Providing clear and concise feedback to internal and external contacts, as required
* Define the scope of new projects: create its roadmap and timeline, establish key deliverables and milestones, and set its development strategies and budgets
* Deciding on long-term development schedules and influence company direction
* Working with internal departments to coordinate new projects and ensure projects stay on cost

Hours of work
35 hours a week (Flexi-time at 7 hours each day. Core hours are 10 am-4 pm.) This role can be offered on a contract or permanent basis to candidates based in the UK with full working rights. This role is offered onsite, hybrid or remote UK
