Candidate Profile:

An observant and analytical personality.
The drive & determination to push projects through, responsible for keeping up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation and any developments that affect our industry.Requirements:

Diploma qualification – Health & Safety.
Computer literate – Microsoft office – high level skills in excel essential.
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour.
Hardworking and flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail and great accuracy.
A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative in a busy, results-driven environment.
Travel to locations throughout Ireland and Poland.Responsibilities:

Ensuring that the Safety Policy is implemented throughout the plants.
Responsible for being up to date with new legislation.
Ensuring that management is advised on and understands all matters relating to the safety of personnel.
Carrying out risk assessments and regular site inspections.
Making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation.
Leading in-house training in relation to health and safety issues and risks.
Organising and controlling regular random safety inspection audits of all areas.
Investigating and recording and incident, accident or dangerous occurrences.Salary: 40K
