IMH Recruitment are currently looking for a Plant Mechanic to work for our client based in Leicestershire.
Overview:
As a Mechanic in Fleet Services your role will be the service and repair of plant in a safe, efficient, and economic manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Driving and manoeuvring Plant as necessary, recovering defective or damaged equipment, carrying out the full range of technical checks and diagnostic tests.
* Observing, recognising & reporting on plant component, or systems defects.
* Carrying out routine inspections, service, and repairs of selected plant in the LCC fleet.
* Examining equipment, reporting verbally or in writing, upon the condition, roadworthiness, and safety.
* Carrying out both mechanical and electrical repairs and/or adjustments as required.
* As the nature of the work may involve you carrying out work outside of normal working hours.
* You need to have a valid driving licence and able to provide own transport
Requirements:
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in either plant maintenance or an equivalent alternative.
* Have experience working in a fleet workshop or garage.
* Understand H&S Policy and how it applies to you and staying safe.
* Have evidence of diagnosing mechanical faults and the use of electronic diagnostic equipment.
* Have good written and verbal communication.
Hours & Pay:
* 37 Hours per week
