HGV Class 1 Driver (Barnsley)

Staffline is currently recruiting 14 x HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our Food Distribution client based in Carlton, Barnsley. Clean Trunking Work. Guaranteed Shifts. Fixed Starts. Brand New Fleet. Days and nights available. Start times between 04:00 – 07:00 and 16:00 – 19:00.
This customer is now busier and as a result we need approximately 14 new drivers across days, afternoons and nights, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday with weekends also available.
Reward Package for the role of HGV1 driver:
– Monday to Friday Days – £15.00 per hour
– Monday to Friday Nights – £16.55 per hour
– Saturdays – Day £16.14 / Night £17.69 per hour
– Sundays – Day £17.29 / Night £18.84 per hour
Your Time at Work
The work will involve Class 1 Depot Delivery work to various locations, delivering confectionery food products from distribution centres with average 1-3 drops per day, ensuring health and safety is followed at all time. The site operates all year round and will provide each driver with a long term ongoing assignments. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you.
Our Perfect Worker
As a C+E Class 1 driver, you will ideally have –
– 3 months HGV driving experience
– No more than 6 points
– Digi card and DCPC
