HGV Workshop Supervisor

Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an Industry leading client for an experienced HGV Workshop Supervisor. This is an excellent chance for a Technician to join a company that offers solid opportunities for personal development and internal progression.
THE ROLE:
You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified HGV Technician that preferably holds a class 1 or 2 HGV license and has experience of managing day to day supervision in a HGV Workshop environment. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as working with and making decisions as part of a bigger team
THE DUTIES:
* Day to day running of the workshop including routine and non routine HGV and plant repair.
* Deliver HGV maintenance and repair work ensuring that work is undertaken in a consistent, safe economical and professional manner.
* Responsible for the supervision and development of senior technicians, technicians and apprentices.
* Recruitment and selections
* managing performance with the vehicle workshop
* Coordinate workload
* Producing up to date vehicle reports
* Working alongside Service Manager, helping to support and advise within the business.
THE HOURS.
This role will be working Monday to Friday, working 37 hours a week.
THE RATE OF PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate of between – £16.50 and £17.14 per hour
