Reports To
The Hire Desk Administrator reports to the Hire Desk Manager.
Job Overview
The Hire Desk Administrator is responsible for the day to day administration tasks assigned to the Hire Desk.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage hire orders received from Business Development Managers (BDMs)
* Manage enquiries received via phone and email from BDMs.
* Liaise with Workshop and Transport departments.
* Checking Purchase Orders upon receipt.
* Updating ‘Delivery Boards’ with new orders.
* Allocate machines to existing future orders.
* Update company ‘app’ with machine status.
* Raising contracts, ensuring accuracy of orders to minimize account queries and potential credits.
* Coordinating hire requirements.
* Actioning all off hires via email/phone and updating the app accordingly.
* Checking delivery and collection pictures to make sure the app is up to date.
* Answering incoming calls
* Checking availability of machines.
* Maintain high Health and Safety standards within the office and when in the Workshop.
Qualifications
* Administration or Hire Desk experience preferred.
* Good MS office and computer literacy skills
