Gain Education are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a position commencing in February 2022 in a vibrant mainstream Primary School in Hackney.
About the Higher Level Teaching Assistant role:
* As an HLTA you will be helping the class teacher motivate and support the development of children.
* This role will include the opportunity to work as a cover teacher, providing you with a great opportunity to gain teaching experience.
* The HLTA role will include intervention work with small groups of children.
* The HLTA will need to prove they can act on their own initiative as well as be willing to follow instruction.
The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will:
* Hold HLTA status.
* Raise the standards of pupils learning.
* Prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, smalls groups or the class as a whole.
* Assess pupil progress.
* Have an up to date & enhanced DBS.
* Have relevant experience supporting pupils in UK Primary Schools and Education settings.
* Have the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
This Higher Level Teaching Assistant position is offered on a long-term contract basis with an option to progress into a permanent role. The Primary School is located in Hackney with easy access from a number of bus services and Underground/Overground services.
