Horticultural Innovation Technologist

Salary : £27000 – £30000/annum
Alexander Steele Recruitment is in an ongoing partnership with a leading horticultural company that provides products from global sources to major UK retailers. This company is actively seeking to enhance its technical capabilities by appointing a trials and innovation technologist in to their Technical team.
On offer:
* Salary is £27,000 to £30,000 doe
* 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
* Company pension
* Working Mon -Fri days
The role: As Trials and Innovation Technologist you will play an integral role within the technical function, providing support to the team to facilitate a comprehensive understanding and effective execution of innovation and trial initiatives. You will lead the Product innovation processes, guiding and orchestrating activities across designated projects from end to end. Additionally, you will offer essential support in the management of internal and external projects, ensuring seamless coordination, material sourcing, and the execution of routine and trial assessments. Your responsibilities will also encompass the analysis of results, collaboration with internal teams to create reports and presentations, and the cultivation of positive relationships with relevant stakeholders.
The candidate:
* An agri / horti or science based degree or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Good computer skills – Outlook, Word and Excel
