NHS Chef: Immediate Vacancy
My NHS Client are looking for reliable and passionate Chefs to join their team.
As a Chef within our catering department, you will be responsible for assisting with smooth production, presentation and service of food while maximising customers and patients appeal and exceeding the Trusts, patients and customers expectations in the restaurant at the NHS Trust.
THIS IS NOT A MAINSTREAM HOSPITAL.
Some of your duties will involve:
– Maintainging a safe and healthy work environment by following organisation standards and sanitation regulations.
– To ensure food is correctly and safely prepared and stored, at the correct legal temperatures, in line with the HACCP regulations and to ensure compliance with all Food safety requirements.
– To ensure all COSHH, HACC and QHSE regulations are adhered to.
– To work closely and communicate effectively with all teams to provide an efficient and seamless service.
Requirements:
* DBS Police Check Certificate (Within a year old)
* Food Safety Certificate
* Confident working in a hospital environment and aware at times you may come in contact with patients.
* Knowledgeable about allergens and cultural needs including for example gluten free, low fat, halal, vegetarian, vegan diet etc
Shift Times:
– 5 days a week (inclunding weekends)
– 7am-3pm / 9am-5pm / 10:30-6:30pm
– £12 per hour
