Hospital Cleaning / Catering

Salary : £10.85/hour + Holiday + Pension
NHS Cleaners and Caterers – Immediate Start
My client are a well-established NHS hospital based in Essex who are looking for a hard-working and passionate domestic cleaners and catering staff to join their team.
Cleaning Duties:
* Use cleaning products carefully, and in line with instructions and provided training,
* Look after equipment, keeping it clean, well maintained and is a safe working order
* Reports any safety deficiencies, incidents, near misses, ill health and environmental incidents to their manager.
* Has full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work to be carried out and time allocated to their area.
* Ensures that the reactive cleaning is completed within agreed timescales.
Catering Duties:
* Prepare and deliver all refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
* Clear down ward areas and wash up dirty dishes ensuring that the kitchen is fully prepared for next service.
* Liaise with ward staff to ensure patients’ needs are met in a timely manner.
* Offer a great customer service by always putting the patient first.
DBS within a year old is required for both roles.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing temp work (No end date- Could be temp-perm for the right candidate)
Hours: Monday – Friday and Weekend shifts available.
Requirements:
– DBS within a year old
– Cleaning/Catering experience
– Hospital experience is beneficial
*Enhanced rates of pay at weekends*
