A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become Hospitality and Events Contracts Manager with Seasoned the award-winning caterer and event management company, with over 30 years’ experience in the industry, working with an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients delivering fantastic events in some of the country’s finest venues.

This role will manage and deliver all aspects of the venue and catering contract for our portfolio of Merlin properties as events venues while ensuring an excellent client relationship is maintained and developed. Ensure the continued strategic development of the events offer, proactively identify the needs of the business, and embed processes it should take to succeed.

Ensuring and developing excellent client relationships; optimising profitability; improving standards and communications across the company and the venues; compliance with all Statutory Law with particular regards to Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Venue Safety and Security protocols.

The position will report directly into the managing partner of the business and be expected to be able to draw on a wealth of experience from across the events industry.

Main Duties:

* Attend monthly contractual review meetings with the client and produce reports for the company directors on actions.

* Responsible for managing the recruitment, interviewing, inducting, training and appraisal of staff members in accordance with Seasoned Events and Merlin’s policies and procedures.

* Plan and deliver operational functions as required.

* Liaise with the client and their staff to ensure a good relationship is maintained and developed.

* In conjunction with the Sales Director development and implement sales plans, marketing campaigns and social media marketing to increase the venues profiles and sales revenues.

* In conjunction with Seasoned Events Management Accountant, ensure that all weekly, monthly and year end procedures are carried out to provide timely and accurate information.

* Financial forecasting, calculating G.P’s, setting prices, monitoring and agreeing targets with Managing Director and Sales Director conveying those to the team. Roll out KPI’s to all Seasoned staff.

* To provide timely reporting for all operations, such reports to present actuals/forecast/variances recovery plans, action plans, pricing or any other financial report required

* To be instrumental in maximising and developing new opportunities within the contract.

* Comply and ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire and Food Handling and ensure that all members of the team are aware of and working in accordance with these requirements.

To be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 3 years' Contract Management/Contract Catering experience and strong hospitality and event knowledge
