About The Role
We are inviting applications for the position of HR Administrator to join our friendly team based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. This role will support the HR team with general HR administration and enquiries from the wider business. This role will cover Maternity leave up to a period of 12 months.
This role requires a positive, self starter with the ability to operate well within a team environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Organise and maintain all personnel records, working to the guidelines of GDPR
* Update internal databases and develop an efficient use of the Carval system
* Prepare HR documentation e.g. letters, new starter information
* Create regular reports and provide KPI data when required to the HR team
* Liaise with the HR Advisor when updating employment contracts and policies
* Assist the Payroll Officer by providing relevant employee information
* Provide cover when the Payroll Officer is on holiday
* Answer employee queries about HR issues
* Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for managers and employees
* Provide basic employment law guidance in the absence of the HR Advisor.
* Prepare documentation prior to meetings e.g. absence, disciplinary
* Participate as a note taker in meetings when required
* Organise long service awards and presentations
* Monitor retirements and organise gifts and celebrations
* Provide cover for reception and post when required

* Proven administration experience in a busy HR environment
* Good organisational skills
* Attention to detail
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to multi task
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* IT proficient, use of Microsoft Office and HR Database
