HSE Officer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000/annum
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our client as a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer based near Thirsk.
The role offers a salary circa £33,000 per ann, excellent benefits package including Health Cash Plan, Continuous training and development opportunities, Employee Rewards.
The role will primarily be based on site at Thirsk, with travel required to national sites as required.
You will be support the Group HSE Manager in promoting the company culture towards health and safety
The Role

Continue to implement HSE improvements across the business

Assist wider managements teams to ensure employees are trained to companies HSE procedures
*
Complete monthly reports and KPIS
*
Conduct site inspections and assist external audits
*
Support with environmental matters, and certification of safety quality and environment
*
Continue to develop and implement HSE training for wider teams
*
Ensure compliance with fire and evacuation procedures
You will be NEBOSH/IOSH qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years within a HSE role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
