We are hiring for an experienced hygiene manager who has previous hygiene experience and skills.

Day to day duties will include:

· To lead and manage an effective 24 hour Hygiene Function ensuring systems and standards are at all times fully compliant with relevant Legislation, Customer/BRC and Site requirements. Work closely with colleagues across the site to improve quality and hygiene to our customers and reduce complaints.

· To work with the Technical Manager in maintaining the hygiene system and to ensure that all documented procedures are completed.

· To control, monitor and audit hygiene practices, to ensure that standards are maintained throughout site operations.

· To ensure that production are provided with clean equipment and environment to ensure customer orders are met in full

Key Skills:

· Working knowledge of relevant legislative criteria and industry standards for food production.

· Good working knowledge of food hygiene- preferably trained to intermediate food hygiene as a minimum.

· COSHH trained with a good working knowledge of chemicals and hygiene equipment.

· Basic awareness of Health and safety

· General process and product knowledge

· Knowledge of key legislation relating to the food industry

· Good communication both written and verbal. Organised and able to work to tight deadlines.

Understanding of the company goals and structure – adaptability to work in a changing environment

Shift Patterns:

6am – 2pm

2pm – 10pm

10pm – 6am
