ICT Technician
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £100 – £120/day
Our client is seeking a 1st line ICT Technician to be based in their Hackney, London School.
The Role:
The client is seeking an experienced ICT Technician (preferably with experience in a school environment) able to provide first class technical support for hardware, software, basic network management/administration, telephone systems, documentation, helpdesk and consumables.
Experience Desired:
• Experience of working in an IT support role within a school environment
• Office 2019, office 365, Windows 7/8/10 OS hands on experience
• Customer care experience, liaising with IT users using a helpdesk portal.
• Experience of installing and configuring computer hardware, telephones, printers, scanners and software.
• Experience of working in and supporting a VMware virtual environment
• Experience of using and administration of users in office 365
• Basic troubleshooting of Servers and server related hardware and software and escalating where necessary
• Troubleshooting and administration of Interactive whiteboard technologies such projectors, Interactive Whiteboards, Interactive Flat Panels
• Basic troubleshooting and Administration of Antivirus software such as McAfee
• Experience of Active Directory administration such as account and group creations both in Office 365 and AD
• Administration of Netsupport Classroom management and Netsupport DNA
• Experience of working on and operating an IT Service Desk and ticketing system
• Basic Administration and troubleshooting of Wifi systems and escalating where necessary
• Experience of using centrally managed MDM solution for managing and administration of mobile devices such ipads, phones, laptops, Chromebooks
• Take part in setting up Audio Visual equipment for events
• Knowledge of windows server 2012 & 2016
• Knowledge of windows networking TCP/IP
• Knowledge of software deployment and installation
