We have a fantastic opportunity for an established Internal Communications Manager to join us. We are on an exciting scale up journey, looking to quadruple the size of our digital platform over the coming years. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. This is a rounded Internal Communications role where you will ensure all our 600+ employees are informed, updated, and engaged whilst they work for us. Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire or Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies. 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.

Where do you fit in?

You’ll join a fast-paced in-house People Team and own our internal communications plan and strategy. You’ll also lead on Employee Engagement programmes and Corporate Social Responsibility. You’ll work closely with the Leadership Team and your People Team colleagues to ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated internally. You’ll manage and develop internal communication channels, company narrative and employee events. As an expert in storytelling, you’ll support internal stakeholders in planning, writing, and editing varied internal comms. Some of your externally facing internal content will be shared across employer brand platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and our Careers Site. You’ll be a skilled storyboarder working closely with our inhouse Creative Team to translate creative briefs for the Design Team to action. You’ll also handle internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation. You love the opportunity to add value, and continuously seek for opportunities to turn complex info into an easy-to-understand format for our people. In addition to your day to day, you’ll operate as a part of our People Leadership Team and Extended Leadership Team and put your comms hat on to drive continuous alignment across our wider People agenda.

What you need to succeed

* You’ll be a skilled comms professional either from internal, external or agency background with experience working closely with a Senior Leadership Team.

* Strong handle on internal comms campaign planning, delivery, and measurement.

* Experienced in CMS systems such as WordPress or integrated employee engagement platforms such as Reward Gateway.

* Be a master at spinning plates and bringing people together by the power of impactful communication.
