The Client A privately owned company located in Worcestershire established over 50 years ago and the UK’s leading manufacturers in their field. Providing a design and manufactured bespoke solution to their clients they are supplying many of the biggest brands and e-commerce companies across the globe, with around 30% of their product exported this client has an annual turnover in excess of £30M. This client is currently recruiting for a Analyst Programmer who will also be 1st line support reporting to the Operations Manager.
The Role As IT Manager you will be responsible for the smooth delivery and running of all IT related projects and to provide recommendations to the board for future IT requirements and projects. You will be the 1st line support for all existing software that is bespoke and for all other software packages used on site (whilst liaising with 3rd party providers). As IT Manager you will also be expected to train new starters in all relevant IT systems and to ensure all current employees are fully proficient on the systems that they use.
The Candidate The successful applicant for the role of IT Manager will be experienced in a range IT disciplines includes programme writing, project management, training of employees, liaising with third party suppliers of IT Systems and being the full administrative manager of bespoke IT systems. You will be highly communicative, able to report upwardly in a professional manner regarding new projects with IT and new requirements and improvements needed. It is essential that you are proficient in C# up to VS 2019 and that you have knowledge of MS SQL Server up to V15 – 5 years minimum experience for both. Although not necessary your application will be deemed more desirable and may be favourable looked upon if you have experience of any of the following SAGE, WPF, XAML, MVVM, Windows, MRP / ERP systems, working within bespoke software within the manufacturing arena along with specifying IT based and non IT based business and manufacturing processes. This is a day role, Monday to Friday day role Thursday 08:00 – 16:00.
