Due to internal group promotion, a well-recognised, but rapidly growing FMCG company based near Leicester has a new vacancy for an IT Manager to join the team. An experienced IT Manager you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the IT infrastructure, systems & services and managing an onsite team of IT professionals. Candidates are sought with previous experience working in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, engineering, distribution or logistics

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.

Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, ensuring professional growth and development.

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.

Oversee IT support services to ensure minimal downtime and high levels of service.

Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.

Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.

Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and provide effective solutions.

Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation.

Experience:

Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in managing IT projects from conception to completion.

Excellent leadership, mentoring and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
