IT Project Co-ordinator
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £50000/annum
We have an opportunity for an IT Project Co-Ordinator to join our operations team to manage and oversee our IT requirements. The candidate should have a good experience of IT including dealing with cloud-based technologies. You will proactively work with the operations teams, to identify current and emerging business requirements and to project manage the implementation of a new Transport Management System.
Your key duties will be:
* Delivering project work plans and identifying required resources and assigning responsibilities.
* Meeting changing needs and requirements within the project environment.
* Managing risks and issues that will impact the project and assessing this against the plan to ensure that any exception scenarios are managed.
* Managing the financial status of the project.
* Overseeing the launch of any approved projects.
* Managing the day-to-day operational / delivery aspects of the projects including ensuring project documents are complete.
* Directing and motivating the project team, giving clear direction and objectives during the project to ensure that the goals can be achieved.
* Delivering progress reports throughout the project as well as contributing towards enhancements / updates to improve the processes further.
* Overseeing and maintaining equipment needs.
* To ensure full training is given to all team members along with creating training documents for any new system implemented.
Skills and experience you will have:
* Knowledge of both Transport Management & Warehouse Management systems and their processes.
* Experience in the delivery of change management, cloud-based technologies, and 3rd party supplier negotiations.
* A demonstrable track record in the successful delivery of multiple projects.
* A PRINCE2, Agile PM and/or ITIL qualification is highly desirable, but not essential.
