Our client is a leading provider of ICT Solutions within the Education sector. Established for many years they are hugely successful and respected in the sector helping schools achieve their best standards of learning and development through technology. We are now looking IT Support Field Engineer to join the team. Experienced in 1st, 2nd line and 3rd line support we are looking for someone that has experience of working onsite with clients, great communication skills as well as the technical IT support knowledge. Main Responsibilities
* Based primarily at one large school, occasional visits to other sites or head office
* Providing a planned and reactive service to your site across all of their ICT needs
* Installing, maintaining a range of software, hardware and accessories including interactive whiteboards and learning tools
* Maintaining and developing excellent client relationships
* Handling all technical problems and issues that may arise
* Devising plans with the client to ensure continuity of service and best use of budgets
* Liaising with multiple contacts for different departments across site
Main Skills
* A background in 1st , 2nd line in an IT capacity, ideally with field experience
* Corporate or education sector experience
* Possess great communication skills and an ability to build client relationships effectively
* Technical knowledge of:
* Windows Server 2008 – 2016
* Assisting with managing Active Directory environments and using Group Policy in an environment of 30+ devices
* DNS, DHCP, and the TCP/IP suite
* WDS, MDT, or other imaging tools (both creating and deploying images)
* Windows 7 – 10
* Office 365
