Great opportunity for a Java Developer to join an established and innovative cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider based in Ipswich. You will be joining an existing team and working on the design and ongoing development of a loyalty marketing platform
We are looking for a strong combination of the following capabilities:
* Several years' experience in Java design & development
* Good working knowledge of design patterns for enterprise software components
* Architecture of multi-tier, data-intensive systems
* Strong knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases
* Server-side development based on loosely coupled distributed services and high-throughput messaging (Java, Spring, SQL, jOOQ, Mongo, Kafka, Storm)
As a developer, you should enjoy getting to the bottom of complex software problems and will either have the technical skills to solve them or be actively developing those skills. This role does not have line management responsibility, but collaboration and mentoring of colleagues are essential parts of the way they work.
