Location: Sheffield S13
Contract type: 4-month trial but permanent thereafter subject to performance
Pay: £9.70ph
Key Duties are:
Stock Rotation including waste reduction
Food preparation and service within the canteen and site event
Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the canteen kitchen facility and equipment. This includes, but not limited to, emptying bins, cleaning down work surfaces, food preparation area, equipment, fixtures and fittings, basic maintenance of the internal equipment.
Ensure all cooking and cleaning equipment and materials are handled and stored safely and correctly
Maintain a safe and secure working environment; ensure that all operations are performed in a safe way to ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work provisions
Ensuring that all relevant food safety records are kept accurate and up to date
Working to 5-star hygiene rating standard
Taking payments via a POS system and keeping the plant controller up to date with financial information
Must have the highest standards of customer service
Maintain hygiene, food safety and fire safety certificates to current standards
May be required to work some statutory holidays and overtime.
