Hours- 8am – 5:30pm

My client is looking for someone to join their efficient and highly motivated catering team within their warehouse canteen. They want an experienced kitchen assistant to help prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for our teams. Main responsibilities include:
Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch for all staff.
Assisting with planning and organising meal schedules and menu changes, with consideration for dietary requirements.
Managing food stock levels, while minimising waste.
Maintaining food hygiene standards throughout the preparation process.
Requirements:
Experience working as a cook/within a kitchen environment essential, but additional training and support will be provided.
Be well organised, able to multitask, work well under pressure and manage your time effectively.
Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions precisely.
Be proactive and able to highlight problems/issues in a timely manner.
For the right candidate this role will become a permanent position after 12 weeks.
