Kitchen Assistant
Have you got experience preparing nutritional meals for large numbers? My client provides a care facility able to accommodate up to 50 residents. We are looking for a confident kitchen assistant to join a team who are passionate about providing a fantastic service.

Salary – £9.90
Hours – Part time, 24 hours per week
Location – Silver End, Witham
Responsibilities – Kitchen Assistant
* Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom. Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock. Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed.
* Washing, peeling, and preparing food ingredients and using equipment such as mixers, special knives, and cutters.
* Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes, and pans and observing cooking times and correct temperatures.
* Have a knowledge of health and safety requirements within the kitchen environment and ensuring that they are always followed
