Northern Employment Services are currently recruiting for General Assistant / Kitchen Assistant to join the team of one of the most leading food manufacturing companies based in Manchester. The role will be an ongoing contract, with IMMEDIATE STARTS following completion of references.
Successful applicants will undergo thorough background checks spanning the last 5 years and a DBS check.
Your role as a General Assistant / Kitchen Assistant will include but is not limited to:
* Assisting the chef in preparation of food
* Plating the food
* Quality checking
* Any other duties required by management.
* Arranging utensils for the chef
* Packaging of food ready for dispatch
Working hours:
* 4 ON 2 OFF shift pattern
Shifts available:
7am – 3pm
RATE OF PAY: £10.42 per hour
Essential skills:
* Fully flexible for all shifts under the current climate
* Ability to work towards deadlines.
* Keen eye for detail
* Full training provided along with PPE provided and food safety training.
