Key Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation Support: Collaborate with our kitchen team to assist in food preparation tasks, ensuring meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality.
* Kitchen Hygiene: Play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by cleaning and sanitizing workspaces, equipment, and storage areas.
* Dishwashing Excellence: Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to guarantee that all kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment are spotlessly clean and ready for use.
* Stock Management: Assist in the organization and rotation of food and supplies, contributing to minimizing waste and ensuring optimal freshness.
* Meal Service Assistance: Support the kitchen team during meal service, which may involve plating, serving, and ensuring residents' dietary preferences are met.
* Compliance and Safety: Strictly adhere to health and safety guidelines, food safety regulations, and infection control procedures to prioritize the well-being of residents and staff.
* Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with the kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and dietary staff, to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
* Resident-Centric Approach: Show attentiveness to residents' unique dietary requirements and preferences, and communicate any concerns or feedback to the kitchen team
