Join our busy kitchen team in East Grinstead, West Sussex! We’re on the hunt for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to help to ensure things running smoothly by providing a high-quality catering service that will enhance the everyday life of our residents. With a prime location in RH19 1ER, you’ll be at the heart of the action!
In this role, in liaison with the Chef you will be responsible for carrying out the preparation and straightforward cooking and service of food and for providing high standards of cleaning and hygiene in the kitchen, always ensuring compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation and basic food hygiene.
Hours of Work: Mon – Fri 8:30 am – 3:00 pm (30 hours p/w)
Kitchen Assistant Requirements:
Ideally you will have proven catering experience, but not essentially, within a care setting or similar environment.
You will be able to follow instructions and be supportive of a charitable, caring organisation's aims and values.
