We now have some opportunities available for Kitchen / Catering Assistants to join our fantastic kitchen team in either Leyburn, Stokesley or Northallerton!
The services operate Monday to Sunday 08:00-17:30, 365 days per year. Flexibility around shifts can be discussed at interview.
As a not-for-profit housing organisation they provide a comprehensive range of services to over 6,000 homes, and the four extra care schemes within the group deliver on site catering and hospitality service to a diverse range of customers.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Assisting with the preparation of food and plating of meals
· Acting as ‘Front of House’, ensuring that meals run smoothly, providing a hosting service before and after meals.
· Supporting the onsite resources/budgets, through effective use of supplies and prevention of waste.
· Contributing to the planning and introduction of new products, meals, and services.
· Maintaining high cleaning and hygienic standards in the kitchen and service areas
About you
Their ideal candidate will:
· Be highly customer focussed
· Have the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
· Be able to work alongside other members of the team
· Ideally hold a Level 1 NVQ in catering, or equivalent, or be prepared to work towards one
