Hours: full time hours available
Hourly rate: £9.42 per hour + Enhanced £1.50 per hour bonus.)

Each Other Care are seeking a Kitchen Manager to work within our catering team to provide an exceptional service to our residents.

As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting our kitchen team ensuring high quality service and food preparation is always provided to all residents. You are required to be double vaccinated for COVID-19 and be able to provide evidence of this.

What does the successful candidate need?:

* Experienced in a residential care home kitchen would be an advantage but not necessary

* Experience in leadership and management

* Proven track record in delivering quality food hygiene standards

* Food Hygiene qualifications

* Budget & stock control

What does the role include?:

* To prepare and cook a balanced, nutritious diet within a controlled hygienic environment.

* Employs food safety best practices and makes sure that all kitchen staff members do the same

* To control stocks and purchases, thereby allocating the quantities of materials.

* To check all food deliveries received are correct and any relevant paperwork is filed accordingly

* To complete all required checklists, paperwork in accordance with food hygiene standards.

* To complete allocated items from action plans as requested.

* To keep the purchase of materials within allocated budgets.

* To plan menus and ensure that these are available and on display on a daily basis.
