Kitchen Manager – Quaystone Bar & Kitchen @ Newcastle Airport
At SSP UK we now are recruiting for a talented and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our team at the Quaystone Bar & Kitchen at Newcastle Airport.
We are the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, our operations feature a mix of food and beverage brands tailored specifically for each location. You will be joining a world-leading food service organisation with superb learning, development and progression opportunities, operating over 400 stores in the UK alone.
As a Kitchen Manager you'll be coaching and developing your team to deliver consistently high brand standards and ensure the kitchen is safe and legal to operate. You'll be managing the budgets for the kitchen area so will be experienced in controlling costs for labour, GP and all associated materials and stock to improve profitability.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Kitchen Management experience within a high-volume bar or restaurant or similar branded commercial kitchen environment.
* Good understanding and passion for food and delivering consistently high standards in quality and presentation.
* Evidence of having motivated and developed your team to deliver excellent levels of customer service and standards, and develop their skills for future progression.
* Commercial acumen and knowledge of the financial controls required when running a kitchen – cost control, stock and labour management, GP targets and P&L reviews.
