Kitchen Manager – Brunel Bar & Kitchen @ Bristol Airport
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Manager for our fabulous bar at Bristol Airport, the Brunel Bar & Kitchen.
We are the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, we operate in airports, train stations, motorway service areas and other leisure locations. We take great pride in developing our teams to provide the best food, drink and service for our customers in what it is often a very busy environment.
The Kitchen Manager will have full control and accountability to lead, develop and inspire the kitchen team and to ensure a smooth-running of the service. This is a hands on role working closely with chefs and Kitchen Assistants by managing, motivating and developing a kitchen team to deliver high-quality food, made to spec, consistently.
You will also be responsible for supporting in the delivery of operational and financial results such as ensuring the unit is staffed to meet business needs as well as ensuring compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and licensing requirements.
To be successful in this Kitchen Manager role, you will need:
• experience of successfully managing a kitchen in a high-volume, branded restaurant operation
• experience of managing, motivating, leading and developing a team
• experience of operational/financial procedures such as rotas, stock taking, ordering, audits
• Food Hygiene level 3, Health & Safety Certification
As this is an airport operation with trading hours of 3am to midnight as with most hospitality/catering roles, flexibility to work shifts between these trading hours should also be taken into consideration when applying.
