Salary :

BMSL require A Kitchen Manager for an ongoing contract on a construction site in Burghfield Common Reading (RG7).

Pay: Rates negotiable, dependant on experience

Main Purpose of Job:

To manage the site canteens

This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys a fast pace working environment and wanting to achieve the best results continiously

Qualifications Required:

Mandatory

* Level 3 Food Hygiene

* Food allergen awareness

Desirable

* Customer service

Other Project Specific Requirements

Mandatory / Essential

* Must be willing to undergo vetting to attain SC Security Clearance (There may be a requirement to undergo DV Clearance)

* British National

Desirable

* Have good IT skills for Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

The ability to recruit, train, motivate and support your team, mentoring and developing people into bigger roles with a focus on internal progression.

Good attention to detail

A real commitment to provide impeccable service, working hard to maintain and improve performance in order to provide an amazing customer experience, well-presented dishes, and a great kitchen atmosphere.

The ability to ensure that the team are working to the highest standards, adhering to all policies and procedures as well as running a busy efficient shift.

The ability to look after all back of house duties related to the kitchen – stock ordering, stock control, labour, rotas, paperwork, keeping the 5 star rating we currently hold, keeping all records up to date.

The ability to make sure any law changes are implemented, all staff are trained to the highest standard and keeping records of all training

The ability to get engineers in to get equipment fixed

The ability to work with all the team to ensure that the canteen maintains it high standards of service and food is prepared and presentation to a high, consistent standard.

A strong communicator who is good at developing strong relationships, gaining buy-in, and leading the team as well as chairing meetings with senior management and the client team

The desire to 'get on' and develop your career with a successful, expanding company that is going from strength to strength. There are good progression opportunities available for the right candidate as the company continue to grow
