I am currently working on behalf of a fantastic client who are looking for a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to head up their kitchen team in a state of the art new Care Home.
As Kitchen Manager, you will inspire the Kitchen Team to deliver the best quality cuisine for our residents. With nutrition and hygiene at the forefront of your mind, you will manage health and safety, budgets and orders and ensure the smooth running of the kitchen. You will understand the importance of putting our resident's nutritional and health needs first and share our ethos of creating an ambient dining experience at every meal time. This all comes together to create a great place to live for our residents and making the Kitchen Manager a vital part of our team.
Skills/Experience:
• Previous experience as Kitchen Manager/Head Chef
• Experience with creating exceptional and nutritious meal options (some residents may have specific requirements)
• Budget management
• Experience with stock management and food orders
• Previous experience leading and managing a team
• Relevant Food Safety and Hygiene qualifications
• Previous experience in a similar setting desirable but not essential
