Kitchen chef job position at an exciting and busy Japanese restaurant and takeaway.
Kitchen duties include preparation of vegetables, meats, fish, dairy, desserts; Cooking, frying, wok skills required or can be learned from a Head chef and will be required to keep up with standard set. Kitchen hygiene and cleaning duties included in the job, as well as order accepting from the takeaway platforms. Hygiene certificate Level 2 or above is prefferable or should be aquired during first month of work. Job will require Learning the dishes on menu and delivering the cooked dishes to the standard set by head chef. Plating skills either present or required to be developed under the supervision of chef.
Sushi chef position available as well – includes meat, fish, vegetable preparations, cutting and slicing of the ingredients for sushi dishes. Sushi plating skills will be required or must be learned in the proccess of training. Training provided, but candidates have to show the ability and desire to do the job. General cleaning of surfaces, equipment, surrounding of a sushi bar/ kitchen are included in the job. Learning the menu dishes and their combinations, reading and prepping food by order receipts required within 2 weeks. Hygiene certificate of level 2 or above is preferable or should be aquired within a month of starting work
