Mango Solutions are currently recruiting for kitchen porters in South Ockendon for our client
Our client are a well-established Pub based in Essex and are looking for motivated kitchen porters to join their team to assist day to day running of the kitchen.
The duties are the following but not limited:
Cleaning
Kitchen porters are primarily responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and organised kitchen to help the chefs use the workspace efficiently.
They wash dishes and cookware, sweep, mop floors,tidy and sanitise work surfaces and equipment
Food Preparation
Sometimes chefs ask kitchen porters to assist in the basic preparation of food.
This includes the following tasks:
• Washing vegetables
• Peeling potatoes
• Chopping herbs
Kitchen porters can use food prep tasks as opportunities to develop and practise simple cooking skills if they're looking to become a professional chef
The successful candidate must have the following:
• Own Transport
• Experience as a Kitchen Porter
